I'm glad I'm missing it.
I did a short tabata style WOD at the hotel gym today. 35#DB press (had to go down to 30# to even finish it), and then a tabata set of push ups. I didn't count how many DB presses I got but I worked it to consistent muscle fatigue/failure. Got to 99 push ups. I sure don't miss the days of going to the globo gym with all those time-wasting machines. I'm pretty sure with the standard CFWU and the two tabatas I had accomplished more in 15 minutes than the guys doing whatever they were doing for 30min +. Man I love CF!
Knees are still kinda weak/sore, but getting a little bit stronger day by day. I've been doing an OK job of resting them, but still have moments when I feel a sharp pain. Expect to see me at CF on Monday, but probably not doing the prescribed WOD for another week.

Great turnout this morning. Big thanks to Mike for leading and coaching the workout.
Everyone put forth a great effort and we had a bunch of sub-40s.
(39::20 for me)
Enjoy the weekend.

Stayed up too late last night. Wasn't able to get up in time for the workout this morning. Did the workout in a park this afternoon. That was hard!!

I would have liked to attend but working until the middle of the night kills the early am workouts. I did Satan's 9 in my garage. 4 rds of 9 back squat, 9 front squat, 9 OHS, 9 shoulder press, 9 push press, 9 push jerk, 9 dead lift, 9 SDHLP, 9 squat cleans w/ a 45# bar. got it from some friends as crossfit east county. 13:25
